约瑟夫·克拉梅克 (“乔”) 自2024年8月起担任世界航运理事会 (WSC) 总裁兼首席执行官。

　　他于 2021 年 3 月加入世界航运理事会，担任美国政府关系主任。

　　加入世界航运理事会之前，他的职业生涯包括在美国海岸警卫队担任官员长达二十八年，其间他不仅在海上服役，还担任过海事、国际和环境法律事务的主管。值得一提的是，在海岸警卫队任职期间，乔领导了美国代表团参与国际海事组织法律委员会的工作。

　　乔曾被派驻美国司法部担任海事审判律师两年。他还被选为布鲁金斯学会的联邦行政研究员，在那里他完成了首批关于港口设施海事网络安全的研究项目之一。

 

Joseph Edward Kramek (“Joe”) has served as President and CEO of the World Shipping Council since August 2024.

He first started at the World Shipping Council as Director of U.S. Government Relations for WSC in March 2021.

Prior to the World Shipping Council, he has served as a U.S. Coast Guard commissioned officer for twenty-eight years, where he spent time at sea and as the Chief of Maritime, International, and Environmental Law. In this role, he led the U.S. Delegation to the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) Legal Committee.

Joe was detailed for two years to the Department of Justice as an Admiralty Trial Attorney. He was also selected as a Federal Executive Fellow at the Brookings Institution where he completed one of the first research projects on maritime cybersecurity at port facilities.
